I am a long time customer and fan of Timex watches. I have always found them not only dependable, few if any problems, but also rugged. Timex always has their focus on fashion and delivers products which mirror the more and most expensive time pieces. Having said that, the Expedition Uplander is in sync with the military style of clothing that is becoming more fashionable. The green band, black face and 42 mm size are perfect for casual dress up and outside activity. Timex never goes overboard in the styling of watches and hopefully will continue in that direction in the future.
Watch is reasonably rugged. Strap is very stiff at first. Strap is too wide to fit easily into the first keeper loop. Had to trim the strap itself so that it fit into the keeper. Watch is easy to read and, so far is keeping good time.
This watch was exactly as advertised and shown. It appears to be of good quality and my son whom I bought it for really liked it. He wasn’t one to wear a watch before but likes this one and hasn’t taken it off.
I bought this watch to save abuse to my nicer watches when I’m doing work which exposes the watch to abuse. It was inexpensive, but I like the way it looks. It’s very light weight. I also like the bright light for night viewing.
Great for daily wear in the woods or at work, light weight and functions well
