At Baselworld 2015, Omega will present its Constellation Pluma. It is a ladies’ wristwatch paved with 32 full-cut diamonds on a bracelet with brushed stainless steel links. Also, hour, minute and seconds hands coated with white Super-Lumi Nova to allow the time to be read in various lighting conditions.
“Pluma”, also known as “feather” in Latin, was the inspiration behind the design of the watch. Similarly to a feather, Omega hopes that the design of the watch is elegant, but subtle at the same time.
The 27mm watch also features the caliber 8520 co-axial movement which can be viewed from the back, thanks to the domed sapphire crystal on the caseback. Some features on the self-winding movement includes a date display, and a 50 hours power reserve. The Constellation “Pluma” also comes with a full four-year warranty, which is a testament towards the confidence and quality of watchmaking in Omega.
